Kathy Powers Nameplate
Kathy Powers Photo Kathy is Orion's Vice President of Services and is responsible for both organizational and divisional strategic direction including program development and management of Orion's services and programs. She has been with Orion since 2001 and is involved in trade and advocacy groups nationally and in WA that represent and support people with disabilities. Kathy is on the executive team of the Washington State Rehabilitation Council, the advisory committee for the Rehabilitation Counseling program at Western Washington University, represents Washington CRP's for the Region X Vocational Rehabilitation coalition, is active in the Community Employment Alliance as well as the Directors of Disabilities Organizations.

Kathy has worked with community non-profits and within the vocational rehabilitation field for 25 years. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree, Kathy provided residential and outreach support for at-risk youth in Northeast MA; after which she coordinated and directed vocational programs and services at Community Work Services. Kathy has a Master's of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).

Cynthia Kim Nameplate
Cynthia Kim Photo Cynthia joined Orion in 2009 as a Vocational Counselor, providing direct services to Orion's program participants, and transitioned to her current role in 2012. As the Training Program Manager, Cynthia is responsible for maintaining the high quality of Orion's three training programs. This includes program and curriculum development, management of vocational and clerical instructors, and overseeing Orion's internal mentorship program. Cynthia received her Master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, and brings curriculum development, counseling experience in individual and group modalities, and treatment planning and implementation. In addition to participating in a number of community groups, Cynthia serves on the board of the South King Council of Human Services and is a committee member of the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. Cynthia is excited to be a part of the Orion team and strives to continually enhance and expand Orion's training programs to maximize employment opportunities for all individuals.

Jason Person Nameplate
Jason Person Photo Jason has been proud to work for Orion since 2005 and enjoys serving the diverse group of people that utilize Orion services to enter, or reenter, the workforce. Jason has been in the field of human services since 1998 and in vocational rehabilitation since 2002. Jason serves on the STEM committee of the Enumclaw School District with a focus on engaging high school students the setup of the STEM expo which connects students of all ages to the possibility of working in the sciences.


During his career, Jason has served as a community support counselor for people with developmental disabilities, a food bank manager, and a behavioral interventionist in a classroom. He also worked for a community mental health provider in the Puget Sound area. Jason utilizes the variety of skills he has developed to support the people that Orion serves. Jason obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University. He graduated with his Masters of the Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).

Tricia Cleavelin Nameplate
Tricia Cleavelin Photo Tricia has been at Orion since 2008, beginning as a job developer and transitioning into her current role as vocational counselor in 2012. She has her Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Tricia is "dedicated to facilitating the programs that Orion provides to extend opportunities for people with barriers to reach their goals of success!"


Cathy Wegner Nameplate
Cathy Wegner Photo Cathy has been a job developer at Orion since 2005. Before Orion, she was at SKCAC where she was also a job developer. Cathy pulls from her in-depth management and sales experience for her role at Orion.

Cathy is active in the South Puget Sound business community and currently sits on the Board of the Auburn Chamber.


Lavada Colon Nameplate
Lavada Colon Photo Lavada began her time at Orion as a program participant in August 2008. She moved to a staff role in 2009 in Orion's manufacturing division, becoming a mentor in 2011 and promoted to Lead in the Grommet cell in 2015. Lavada joined the training & employment team in 2016 as a job developer.

She brings an empathy and passion for Orion's mission and a strong belief in the ability for everyone to succeed in work. Lavada is conversant in ASL, with previous sales and customer service experience. Lavada is "excited to use all that I've learned in my experiences here at Orion to help others reach their goals!"

Dru Fleming Nameplate
Dru Fleming Photo Dru began with Orion in 2016. A lifetime resident of Seattle, her background involves 25 years of journalism/advertising, real estate marketing, and 10 years working with the senior industry and senior placement.



Tamie Clark Nameplate
Tamie Clark Photo Tamie has been with Orion as a Job Developer since July 2016. Tamie has worked for over 16 years in roles supporting non-profits, veterans, and returning to work adults on projects ranging from job transition, community outreach and employer outreach. Tamie was a member of Military Transition Council and various other organizations and is excited to bring her passion for helping others to the Orion community.



Kristina Pressley Nameplate
Kristina Pressley Photo Kristina started with Orion in November 2016 as the Intake and Outreach Coordinator. She is an Air Force Veteran, serving for 12 years as a Spanish Linguist, an Intelligence Office and Military Training Instructor. She is a certified personal trainer and health educator and owned her own small fitness business. Kristina joined Orion after working for another non-profit as a Veteran Transition Specialist, assisting Veterans as they made their transition into the civilian workforce.


Kristina is active in the Auburn community where she is the President of her Homeowner's Association Board, a member of the PTA, and serves as the head coach of the Girls on the Run program at Evergreen Heights Elementary School.
